Florence here we come....

Here at the Knitting Academy, we like to keep ahead of what is happening for Knitwear and fashion , by researching trends for colours, yarns, shapes. Hand-Knitting is great, but we encourage everyone to knit great styles that are in fashion! Also we like to check out and select great yarns that we like to have available for purchase on our Workshop days.

We can do all this, AND soak up the culture and style of the beautiful city of Florence, Italy, when we visit 'Pitti Filati' : a knitwear trend fair held every six months to help the fashion greats including Gucci, Prada, Armani (and The Knitting Academy!) to source and design for their new collections.
